Aline Oterus - Graphic Designer
During project 2 we didn’t have much direct communication with the graphic design team working on our expansion “Raffertys Reaping” but playing at the SAE open day I got to see first hand the awesome work they contributed. Aline the main graphic designer working on our project showed off her awesome box art shown below, it adhered to the games retro futurist aesthetic and tied our expansion into the core game amazingly. Seeing the end product and being able to play the final game made the whole experience rewarding and it was all thanks to the graphic design work tying everything together.

Fortunately in Project 3 i was able to be in more direct communication and have a more direct input on the output of work thanks to the great communication and dedication of our audio team. From early in the project Patrick was organising and dividing our asset list amongst his team and booking studios to get things done. Thanks to his hard work we received all of our polished audio within one week of bringing them on board. This was thanks to the work ethic of the audio team spending critical hours in the studio providing us with demos to make sure the game was how we wanted it. We only gave Patrick a brief outline of what style we wanted the audio and to be honest what was produced wasn’t exactly what i had in mind. However i found that giving the audio students creative freedom gave us a more polished product. Working with the Audio students was a smooth and exciting process, seeing them create fantastic assets in a short amount of time which really added character to our game was a rewarding process and makes me excited to collaborate with more Audio students in the future.
